The Visionaries Choir was formed in 2015 by John Delaney, Frank Kelly, and Peter Gorey as part of the The Visionaries School of Music, which also offered instrumental tuition.
The choir continued to operate online throughout COVID lockdowns and still welcomes members weekly on Zoom and Jamulus from all parts of Ireland (including Belfast, Donegal, and Roscommon at present) who join in with the in-person gathering of members able to travel in to Hill Street each week.
The atmosphere is really friendly and supportive and audio learning resources are provided for everything they sing. There is no audition as such, just a voice range exercise to place the singer correctly in the choir.
